Recently separated Sally finds out that her husband Ashley has gone on an expedition to Mount Everest and that his life is in danger.

When the opportunity came along to work with director Leeni Linna, the "Estonian Kathryn Bigelow", I was intrigued. Her story of a wife reaching out to her husband lost between the physical world and spiritual realm was creatively vital for me. I was keen to delve into the genre of magical realism and to help tell a story that was more ethereal and difficult to pin down. I also wanted to ride shotgun to a more experienced director.

The story also touched on something I really enjoy - the outdoors. I was proud to secure one of our shooting locations at my favorite spot on Mt. Wilson. I learned about commitment from our lead actors Kelly Frye and Torrance Coombs. Leeni, Ino, and the dedicated crew exemplified the tenacity required of all filmmakers to see a vision realized.
